The biggest ****-you you can give the major parties is to vote Green. Donkey votes support the status quo. In your electorate you might as well vote Liberal if you do that.I'm normally a labour voter. Not this time. I'm not voting liberal either. Our government leaders are **** ed in the head. In protest I'm going a blank vote. F them all.
Chris Lilley sucks. If you have to resort to that sort of stuff to be funny, you're not very funny. He appeals to people who would use the phrase "political correctness has gone mad" in earnest.

My younger brother counted votes for the AEC one year. Your 'protest vote' is pointless. All that's gonna happen is some 20 year old kid is gonna pick up your ballot paper, sigh, and chuck it in the recycling. Scott Morrison and Bill Shorten aren't gonna see your blank ballot paper and realise the error of their ways.
Greens are just as bad as the two majors and are tearing themselves apart with the watermelons vs tree tories. We don't see it much in SA as they don't have much of a presence but look at the shit that is going on in NSW and Vic: branch stacking, bullying, career politics with no regard for party policy. Greens are a bloody joke these days. The biggest ****-you you can give the major parties is to vote Green. Donkey votes support the status quo. Vote Green MLC - do it for Stevie
This isn't entirely correct. Both parties take a keen interest in the amount of informal votes as they are potentials that can be swayed to vote for them if they can produce the right policies. The problem with informal votes though is that it's difficult to ascertain why a person didn't lodge a formal vote. Making an informed choice of an independent can therefore give some clue as to what is influencing your vote, which the parties will try and pick up on and include in their next platform. My younger brother counted votes for the AEC one year.
