Kane was great for a time but not so much towards the end. I rate the early part of his career highly.

Controversial maybe, but is Chornes a little overrated? Couldn't kick straight up forward so got moved down back and couldn't defend when the opposition attacked through his opponent. Would it bit fair to say he made his name in the years he was allowed to be the loose man in defense?
Can you really award top 15 to a player playing that role?
AA CHB in '04. AA midfielder in '07. He was patchy at the start and end of his career but was a supreme footballer in that '04-'07 period.
You should find a spot for Roger James. Without him we're still looking for our first afl flagthanks for the feedbacks guys. Heres what Im working with (in order):
1. Tredrea
2. Wanganeen
3. R. Gray
4. K Cornes
5. C Cornes
6. Primus
7. Lade
8. Francou
9. P Burgoyne
10. Wakelin
11. Boak
12. S Burgoyne
13 M Wilson
14 Dew
15 Schulz
Most Stiff are Westhoff, Cassisi, and Carr. Is this too outrageous??
This is obviously not including John Butcher at 1 because that goes without saying.
As title reads. Im making a list of top 15 players of the AFL era for Port Adelaide and need help. Port fans, who are your top 15, completely disregarding their performances prior to AFL era?
I had Wakelin as our best KPD in the AFL. Mead was great one on one but not great at rebounding off of half back, if memory serves, so just holds him back. Definitely in the discussion though.Darren Mead is arguably the best CHB the Power has ever had, 122 games - likely would have been 200+ if Port were in the AFL a few years earlier and our inaugural John Cahill medallist.
Needs to be in the discussion!
Why is everyone listing Shaun Burgoyne? Assuming we're not including his Hawthorn achievements, he's nowhere near it.
Yeah but only if you count when we played West CoastJason Davenport
Lade to Junior Burger was iconic. He was our leading midfielder and there was his smother in '04. Memories fade so maybe those moments stick out a bit more and, to be honest, i thought he was a better player at Port than Hawthorn but that may be a bit of selective memory. Why is everyone listing Shaun Burgoyne? Assuming we're not including his Hawthorn achievements, he's nowhere near it.
