Anything we should be concerned about long term or would make the club question offering him a new contract or he just go out on the piss or miss a training sesh? (Both aren’t the best looks but hardly worth stressing about over the long term)

I believe it's such a minor thing (but fair in context) that I don't even know why it has been brought up. Don't waste any time on it.

Sorry but I find these posts distasteful. We have the best culture and harmony in the comp and on dec 31,2019 - Astbury is still 28, George 23, Brandon 26, Houli 31 and all playing fantastic footy at the moment with no decline in sight, Rance is out of action and yet you pump up an injury prone (so far) and very much unproven Garth as a reason we should be shedding/offloading to the highest bidder for Dave and others like its a second hand car sale on ebay...It was fantastic the way we looked after our capable types... yet no longer automatic best 22 in 2018 looking forward. Early days yet but Grigg, Jack Graham, Butts, Mrakov and Soldo might be in the same boat at years end... Who knows??, But the club will look after them and give them opportunities and options as they did with Conca, Lloyd, Miles, Cellis etc.

We did have a Mrakov and now we have a Markov...

It's amazing reading the differnece between the Richboard board opinions and opinions from opposition supporters ( especially the Supercoach board hehe).

He's a fair way off at this stage. We should temper our optomism, I reckon.

Not at all , Im loving what he is doing and the run he provides with the hard tackling

Limited time on ground and playing a position that does not lend itself to getting too many touches

Developing beautifully but not a super coach scoring player

In that he flies all over the place and at this point ***** it up almost as much as he gets it right

Get him to move in with Leppa

Wouldn’t be surprised if he KOs himself soon the way he is going

Improving every game. My main gripe with him is he gives away too many free kicks that could easily be avoided.
Will be important later in the year once he builds a tank.

He is a rare unit this bloke, and don't worry about Supercoach points for him. You can receive an easy ball across half back and distribute it Chinese checkers style to a teammate and you probably get 4 points or something. You bust a clearance open leaving opponents sprawled all over the showroom and fumble it three times and do a knock on that gains 30 yards you probably get one point. Supercoach just doesn't see the real value in actions like that. And it punishes you for clangers, as if all clangers are created equal, and they are not.

This guy reinvents the maths applicable to footy. For instance last night he was credited with 6 disposals and 7 of them were clangers! Nobody else could achieve that.

I think one of the them was so bad that it counts for 2 clangers.

Agree he's a fair way off.But you know what i reckon the best way to fast track his development is keep playing him in the Seniors.The lad doesn't lack confidence,Just needs too slow down and get use to the tempo.

Not at all. He adds power at the contest. May not be getting clear possessions but he is a big body in the pack and he goes with real intensity. Once he learns the game a bit better he will get better and better. That tackle on I can't remember who, but few big men would have stuck it, much less 19 year olds. Plus he gives Nank a real chop out, which last night mean't Nank was freshish and was able to ruck on their second ruck at times and killed him.

Like the man from snowy river you don't want to be leaving this guy behind on the ride, he can do things others just cannot do. He is no precision instrument but he can win territory for us and that suits our game more than it would any other team. The other thing is if the finals are destroyed by good weather as they were last year, we need six genuine key position/ruck types to match the Pies and Eagles on that score and this guy is a useful spare part for several roles.

What is hardly plays any tog? Would think about 60-70%, unless you have real stats. Young player building, besides, got any alternatives.
