Sorry but we lost the game (again) because we fold under pressure in the final minutes of close games. Nothing to do with the umpires.
I can't agree. If the team effectively competes for 3+ qtrs but then capitulates under pressure in the final minutes (as we have done in several games) it seems to me the problem is not age, physical or skills based, but a mental (between the ears) one. The teams that win premierships at lower levels of AFL are the ones that can lift under pressure at critical times.Have some situational awareness, ffs. Look at the demographics of the team we fielded today. Football is not played in a vacuum.
And the difference between the teams might be that Kreuze has not got the fitness Grundy has from playing every gameIMO the big difference today was that every one of our forwards looked threatening and got involved. Really hope this sets a standard going forward
Not a disgrace but disappointing and reflective of the team's inability (again) to match intense pressure in the final minutes of a close game. What a disgrace.
What about the forwards coach?Coach won't be going anywhere, get use to it
Thats the plowman and marchbank from 2 or 3 years ago.Plowman played with a desperation I haven’t seen from him before. Goes to show... he has the ability if he brings the hunger
funny, that's what every other club supporter says......Honestly this happens every ******* week. We get molested by umpires
How wasn’t the Maynard goal not called back? It was touched by Elliot!!!
We just get rorted every week
Lol... surely you arent seriousReally impressed with cunners...learning to be a smart player
Didn't do much wrong today did Jack.I'm am actually really happy for JSOS, thought he was BOG for us in the first half, or very close. Could be one of the big bonuses of the season.
Pretty short sighted by those players really. The club knows it, hence going hard for Rockliff and Shiel, but obviously they don't want to play for a bottom team.

It’s a massive ask to expect the players to be able to withstand both the onslaught from the Pies and the umps though.Sorry but we lost the game (again) because we fold under pressure in the final minutes of close games. Nothing to do with the umpires.
sadproud Of the boys... umpires can go and get ****** the corrupt campaigners, never gave us a chance. What a ******* disgrace
Clubs putting a lot more homeowrk into him now, double teamed alot. Needs to adjust, and will. Plus we weren't very clean going fwd.We have to get him in the game - 2nd week in a row
What was the free kick to Grundy for? FMD
