So aside from the main event being Cogs; Betts still a chance and J. Martin very very good chance. If we add Betts, Martin and Papley to that forward line/mid rotation - holy moly, watch out. Don’t underestimate Eddie finding some form again in Navy Blue. Hes one of us, and I reckon he’d work his ass off to do what he can for that jumper.

It was clear to me Daisy couldn't stand BB as a coach and this was evident by an interview he gave on the show, on the mark after our last win, he spoke how he really wanted a new deal and that he thought he deserved one.

The way he spoke in relation to the group, was that we were being held back and not developing at the rate to which he thought we should.

Making my own assumptions, his relationship with Bolton and our teams plight at the time, made him disillusioned with football and the club, resulting in his boozy night, since then, he has been fantastic.

I honestly thought he deserved games during the middle/latter part of the year due to good form, but his papers were stamped.

I wasnt keen on Martin but Im slowly turning, espesh if we landed him.

Need to fill that front 6 with talent and if we had say Martin Papley Cunners to compliment the Big 3 - phwoaaar

Would be amazing...such a dangerous forward line...similar to Richmond and west coast.

Last few weeks our guys up forward tried but don't have the skill and xfactor to kick goals out of nothing that we need to win.

Eg deluca, he's not a forward so it's tough, but he passed off that shot on the goal line to Daisy and kicked another out on the full...imagine that was a more skillful player able to nail those goals? Changes the game.

Replace deluca and Lang in the side on the weekend with Martin and papley and we would be so much more dangerous. And Cunners too. They bring pressure but also high skill levels.

If he was playing for us this week, would probably replace Dow or deluca and would be a big upgrade.

Hence why i said at worst a pressure forward

Barass is the king of this board and I want him to save all his energy for the off-season.

Stay hydrated and rest up Barass, come trade week the sub vest is going off and I want non stop ’s, yes’s and no’s several times a week. This is your biggest off season yet.

I don’t think Martin would be judged off scoreboard pressure. I would be more judgemental of his score involvements, goal assists and inside 50’s. If he’s strong in those areas on game day as a bluebagger, he will be a weapon for us.

He will be the link in providing us the ability to score heavy. His midfield capabilities as well to allow him to rotate are just a great added bonus. I really want him in Navy Blue as there’s a proper player in there who’s potential hasn’t been reached yet at senior level

Plenty to play out but more than just smoke.

As far as the Teague appointment goes, he is all class. Even after the busy day he has had, still finds time to text people back that he brushed shoulders with 10 years ago.

Especially since we are locking the ball into the front half these days. Anyone noticed how far up the ground Jones, Newman etc are pushing and where they are getting their intercepts from.
