Murphys kicking today was sublime
Our 2 Pick 1 oldies made some clever decisions today. Wonder how the other Pick 1 oldie feels about his decision making.

Fantastic win considering our backline was so depleted. Casboult was tremendous, was marking and defending like Brian Lake out there. Phenomenal game and if it wasn’t for Kreuzer’s last he was BOG.

Simpson and Thomas the cool old heads stood up tremendously. Loved Simpson’s last quarter, particularly his willingness to run and carry, match winning that last intercept mark and the rub through the middle. Disappointed Daisy won’t be going on. Still has something to offer the club and he always gives 100%.

Cripps wasn’t at his best but still did a number of influential things. Murphy was probably the pick of the mids. Phenomenal goal in the pocket. Don’t think there’s anyone I’d rather to kick one of those to win the game than him.

Kreuzer was simply awesome when we needed him in the last. He was the difference. Thought it was pretty even to 3 quarter time then Kreuzer was huge late. When he went off they got back in the game.

Up forward McKay was great despite misses. His marking was huge. The goal late was a ripper. McGovern looked the best he’s looked today. He will take mark of the year one day.

Love watching Silvagni have a big impact every week. Just does special things. Wins contests he has no right winning, very hard to tackle and is footy brain is elite.

Go Blues

Are we still questioning McGovern's worth to the team here?

Just checking.

Nope I love the big day, awful porb tache and all. The decision to drop him to the VFL for a few weeks by Teague and the MC was a fabulous move in hindsight.

Firstly, congrats to Teague on the job and also starting of his official career with a win! He changed up our structure after half time by letting Saints have an extra at the contest while we dropped a man back to stifle the Saints quick slingshot footy goals.
Well done Teague.

Levi, JSOS, Daisy, Harry, Kreuzer.. best on ground IMO.

But saying that, nearly every players did their part, some awful mistakes and goal kicking but the intensity and never give up attitude of the team as a while is so refreshing to see.

Lastly, well done Daisy, you came to this club under immense pressure to prove your price tag at the time, and even though it was not the ideal first few years, you made it into the heart of everyone Carlton supporter through sheer determination and consistent effort on the field and whatever the future holds for you (whether it’s a place at another club) you’ll always be a part of Carlton hearts and minds :)

Definitely wound back the clock a fair few years with his kicking. Really stepped things up after I thought he was cooked when he was having issues hitting targets over 30m.
