Cogs needs to realise the Giants will be on the decline very soon and their window will be slammed shut.
Tom Browne saying Cogs wants to stay at GWS but the money at Carlton is hard to say no to. Browne saying 1.6 to 1.8 front loaded for 2 seasons.
If his overall contract is say 6mill over 5 years that leaves 2.4 to 2.8 over the next 3 years or around 850,000 per season. Just in time for Crippa's next deal

can anyone confirm if we are actually able to trade casboult at the end of this year? obviously there are bluemours that he will be involved in a trade for jack martin however AFAIK he should be a free agent at the end of this year. have also been told by a very self-absorbed lurker on here that levi possibly has a trigger in his contract for next year if he plays the final round, would this remove his status as free agent?
Article on Levi's trigger clause here: https://outline.com/5TZaKA
It says "he will need to play almost every game to automatically trigger that deal". I'm pretty sure he's played every game since that article was written in June. Don't know what that would mean for his free agent status though.
I do not like agreeing with the almighty afl, but on this one I have to admit that I do.......the coach has a game plan that sees them playing "bruise free football" just too often, especially with all the talent at their disposal..........it just doesn`t stand up to finals pressure and they need to play a more contested brand of footy if they are going to win a flag before their list dries up..........imoStill a lot of talent up there (if they can keep them) but constant injury list & jury out on the coaching.
Caro was under the impression the AFL were not overly impressed with Leon Cameron.
Next week might decide it.
30 games sounds like something they might put in a contract.
29 is weird.
Doesn't say if it's a trigger or an option.
First time poster thought I would join to share info I got today re Cogs . Had lunch in Richmond today before the game , restaurant manager saw I was a Carlton supporter and told me he was mates with Cogs showed me some text msgs between the two and was adamant he was coming to the blues.
#Bluemour
I'm assuming that post was a troll post, probably by a Hawker trying to get some sort of perceived payback for "Nash88" or something.
I think the League average is 7.2.

Allegedly one of many that has fallen out with Wayne Campbell. Sounds like Campbell to be moved on. Leon Cameron has been public in his support of Campbell. The discord won't have hurt our chances.Still a lot of talent up there (if they can keep them) but constant injury list & jury out on the coaching.

Yeah. But we go our own way now. No more following or messiahing (careful we don't make Cogs this-but he is literally another great cog for the Carlton weapon). Nope we is reborn and we get the great privilege of watching our team soar over the next few years.Considering BLions also lost Beams, Neale has covered +++some.
Cameron is bossing it, excitement machine & McCarthy has added to forward line mix as well.
Add McCluggage, Witherden, Berry etc and their improvement has been superb.
No reason we cannot follow (could do with that Cameron burst factor mind you).
We would be nutsy unicorns to let Caz go. So versatile and playing superbly. Why would we do that?? We will have to find another way to pay for Martin. Plus, Teague has implied he will be with us.can anyone confirm if we are actually able to trade casboult at the end of this year? obviously there are bluemours that he will be involved in a trade for jack martin however AFAIK he should be a free agent at the end of this year. have also been told by a very self-absorbed lurker on here that levi possibly has a trigger in his contract for next year if he plays the final round, would this remove his status as free agent?
*wonHey cogs,
Ever played in front of 90,000 thousand people?
Round 1 next year if you like.
Whats also missing is the manager just happened to see he was a Carlton supporter.. In Richmond.. With thousands of others. He just so happened to single out this guy though.I’m sure you saw the text messages but unless this is the restaurant which Cogs owns I don’t get how he will be good mates with a guy in Richmond when he’s from Perth and has lived in Sydney the past 8 years.
And why would he tell a good mate over SMS which can clearly fall into the wrong hands (including Cogs own phone)?
For now I’m going to stick with our ITK posters who are saying it’s yes for now. The rest of this is all noise really.

Seems terribly quiet on the Cogs rumour front.
Except there would have to be 129.6 of these footballers across 18 clubs to get this number. Not sure who the 0.6 is?That number seems silky, smooth, and manageable
