My thinking its too much for a small forward. Rather put that on the table for another midfielder who can rest forward.
Martin and Cogs will play forward and our current crew in who can also in Murphy, Cunners, Fisher, Gibbons, Kennedy, Setters, Dow .... Top ten is way overs.

We need a good small forward. If we already get Cogs and Martin, we don’t need another mid. We’re all about targeting quality, I have no issue spending the Crows first on Papley.

Those 3 players in in one off season without using a future first? It would be amazing.

For it to be worth Clarko mentioning it, would have to be someone at a decent level i would imagine...maybe Scott Burns as senior assistant?

I’m surprised by the willingness to hand over pick 8 for Papley and I’ve been a fan from his early days. I’d sooner hand it over for J Martin than Paps. Reckon too few are recognising how good Martin is and will be.

I’d want something worthwhile back from Swans if it’s pick 8 for Paps.

Surely Adelaide first is enough. Charlie Cameron went for pick 12 and is a better player.

In the list of best small fowards this year I think Papaly would just be behind Cameron, and he was still sidekick to Betts when traded

I don’t think they are auctioning him off, he wants to go.

They lost Neale and he is a big chance to win the Brownlow this year, Neale was also contracted and the Freo supporters I know are dirty on it, their membership is down, their home crowds are down, they aren’t WCE they aren’t a financial powerhouse.

This is a big moment in Freos history and I honestly hope, that they finally stand for something and take someone who is desperate to the cleaners for Hill, I also think Peter Bell will do it, don’t think Carlton needs to be or should be that club

That’s the very reason they’re there. If your delivery was perfect you’d play 6 talls.

Your arguments about not needing a specialist forward and only wanting resting mids is seriously flawed.

Liddle has openly said the club needs a small forward and SOS is chasing Papley hard...what does that tell you?

Saints first will be pick 5 though. That's Connor Rozee this year territory. Would think that is more than enough bearing in mind Gibbs was 10 + 16 with 19 back I think.
