Brad hates Brett and the PPT team... but I think everyone already knows that. If Burton stays (which it looks like he will, going by the crap Chappy was spewing), we are going to lose players for that reason alone. Sadly, I can’t blame them. I would prefer Brad stays, as his age profile and talent level is one we are severely lacking in.
Let’s just finally bottom out and rebuild properly. Pity we did t start last year....

And this is a real problem as I would think just about every supporter would rather Brad Crouchstay than Burton. What sort of club could allow a member of the backroom staff to be placed at a more important level to the club than its star midfielder - I damn well hope that ours are not that club

There will be an external review, the club bowing to public opinion.
However, they won't reveal the findings and only implement those that they were already planning
Something I thought when Fagan said we'd have the best football department and not much changed... We don't actually think the person in the role is that important, we foolishly believe that everything we are doing is great, or can be, with the right systems and structures. We continuously bring people in at a level where they don't have any authority and learn how we do things.

For the right team he would be a very good tagging-negating midfielder ... could be another who shows us up .
His disposal has been rank at times this year but he always had to do the dirty work that others were not willing or could not do .
Carlton would be a perfect fit for him and he for the team .... let's see
They've already decided he's not an issue, they wouldn't act on anything even if the review did find him as a problem.
They knew he had problems, they all promised the players things would change and what a surprise, nothing did. What's that saying about a leopard changing its spots? Burton is what he is and he's not the sort of person who's ego can't handle being questioned about anything, even if the source is more experienced or well qualified. This is now 100% about protecting a mate and a "loyal servent" rather than what's best for the AFC. Same reason Campo is untouchable.

No he didn’t, he specifically said that according to Melbourne clubs Brad Crouch is approachable. This is a pretty standard line for player managers trying to maximise contract negotiations. Doesn’t mean he’s leaving at all.
The others named are a combination of out of contract or out of favor senior players. Not exactly rocket science to suggest they could be offered up.

It would be very telling if the youngster who was one of the faces of the playing group in the aftermath of the Walsh tragedy, ended up leaving for greener pastures or to try and save his career. We've fallen a long way.
He's had a really poor last 12 months, but could still be a valuable contributor at another club (see Ed Curnow).
