Chapman pretty much said that Burton had F'ed up by referring to him doing a good job by the time his career is done.

It was reasonably well known around the traps going back a few years ago that Brad wanted out of Adelaide, perhaps his two years of no games caused him to stay due to his value being lower than it should have been and now after a solid year he is looking at his options back in Vic.

Chapman has just started his new consulting company, it has nothing to do with it being the "right" time.
