I totally agree with you by the way.
My point is that sport should not have any resemblance to politics. A players union?? Please!
The best and strongest games/leagues in the world got rid of the unions and the players have gone onto bigger and stronger wages. The clubs know the players bring the crowds, so they will never miss out... Paying the salary cap to close to 100% will make sure of that...

Don’t forget all the massive leg ups that Gil gave Essendon during the disgraceful performance enhancing drug scandal.
That Essendon we’re rewarded with pick one in the National Draft because they finished last (deservedly) as a direct consequence of their players serving a 12 month ban - was a ******* disgrace.
Wasn't happy with how he was treated by some, so said goodbye (indefinitely?)What happened with Barrass?
What happened with Barrass?
Thanks mate always appreciate your input. Why the more likely to stay at GWS? If the AFL are trying to influence his decision I would think we are getting in his ear a bit too? Have we given him a date to let us know by?Without sounding repetitive (and the risk of being lambasted), Cogs is genuinely undecided. But as of RIGHT NOW, he is either coming to us or staying at the Giants with the latter the more likely of the 2.
Papley deal is almost being put in the too hard basket. (Swans wanting too much for a contracted leader of their club which is understandable.)
As I have been saying all year, our first pick in this years draft in more than likely to be moved on.
Furthermore, I don't blame Barrass for his reaction. For the very very minority of you out there, here is a simply solution, you don't like what you read there is an ignore option available for your usage.

Teams are required to pay close to 100% of cap because of player unions

KC, just accept and love the insight from MS3/ITK and move on to discussion. They generally don't or can't engage further, telling us what they can. Pushing for more is a symptom of posters getting entitled and antsy. Leave him be.Thanks mate always appreciate your input. Why the more likely to stay at GWS? Thanks for the update ... Thanks for update and yeah sounding like Papley will cost too much and Swans doing right thing for them, which they should. Glad we had a crack though as he was type we would love right now.Without sounding repetitive (and the risk of being lambasted), Cogs is genuinely undecided. Think they would need some actual evidence first. And I think CFC have more important things to do than worry about one player that was always just a maybe. Such as a game tomorrow. Rising star celebration. Possible big Brownlow night. Then delistings. Recruiting and preseason.Nah, based on his voice and the underlying message in his radio message. It’s not about what may or may not have transpired since; I’m not even sure what rumour your referring to as there are so many. Rather, it’s about the perception of what may or may not have transpired since as a result of his public declaration.
