Hey guys, tough times at the Crows it seems.

Remember the club will always survive and the tide will turn. In 2014 we had a the worst senior coach of the century cause our captain (I can’t even stomach writing his name), Cooney, Shaun Higgins walk out.

The result of this pinch point in time was that the club immediately realised the coach had spurned the playing group and rightly sacked him.

We got a fresh coach, some fresh faces, a fresh attitude and two years later had a flag.

Moral is embrace and encourage the sh*tstorm!

It's not ovely tough times. Just some change which is overdue. All clubs go through it. Generally believe the opposite of what the media says.

- Mackay is like Reilly and Doughty, he’s playing his best footy of his career at the end, no issues with another year if a load of other over 30’s are moving on.

He's not, his best football was a decade ago, and he's been meaninglessly treading water since about ~2013/14.

If we are serious about a rebuild, Mackay has to go. If we offload Betts/JJ/Jacobs and keep Mackay, it just looks a little silly. I'm expecting Gibbs (a little weird, considering his season) to be the only 30+ yo left by the end of the trade/draft period, with Sloane/Tex/Lynch all turning 30 next year.

- Crouch brothers should be kept, but refresh with midfield coaches. Perhaps Matt as captain.

- I really hope we can get one of Lukosious or Grundy this trade period.
- If Kelly has signed on, where does that leave Luke Brown? Both similar. Brown has never broken out from the dour role he plays, despite having all the attributes to offer much more.
- If Lynch has trade value, I’d rather trade him and keep Greenwood.
- Not fussed if Hartigan, Betts, Jacobs, Keath are moved on, especially if we can get some draft picks back.

Brown doesn't need to break out from his role, he is fantastic at it. One of the underrated players in the entire league.

Freo pretty close recently. Chapman leaving anyway, just fast tracking it. Burton should have been fired last year. Campo should have been moved long ago. So the fact that we have been asleep at the wheel doesn't mean the fix shouldn't happen at one point. Pull the bandaid off.

II think we can do better than Kate Ellis for the top job. That's not having a go at her per se, I just think there are more experienced people out there.
