Are the players still around?
Not sure if they have left on their end of season trip yet.
Some are In Paros.

No way would I like to see us do that for Wines. He's really not that good, nor that good a user.
Two first rounders for Wines because that then throws the rest of our targets into confusion?
Casboult won't want to go to GC and even if we did get something for him by trade more work would then be required to manufacture a deal to satisfy GC.
I think we have to back Russell and Teague in getting the likes of Setterfield, Dow and Kennedy ready for 2020.
Walsh will only get stronger and we need SPS and Fisher involved also.
Wines isn't anywhere enough of a player to drop 2 firsts on and getting back a pick ~30 doesn't make up for it nor may help us in finishing off our needs.
No thanks.
Cripps, Setters, Fish and Curnow are together touring the islands, were on Santorini the other day, not sure if thye've moved onto Paros, i'll take your word. Some are In Paros.

You’re not a Wines man Harks
I am
Wonder whether Silvagni is ...
Is he best friends with O'Meara too?Whitfield would be great, but as far as I know Hawks have been pi**ing in his ear for years now, also a mad Hawthorn supporter growing up and was in the stands for a couple of their Grand Final wins.
Doesn't mean we shouldn't try, but I won't be getting my hopes up about him this year or next.
Yeah but Cameron was definitely in the next 3-4 to be called up.
I don't believe so no.Is he best friends with O'Meara too?
Can confirm. Had a great chat with Agresta recently at a private Club function. He's a lovely fella, very savvy, pushing hard for the Club to invest more into data analyticsYeah great listen, Agresta seems like a man who knows what he is doing.
I liked how adamant he was that DeKonning is a ruck, plus his confidence in Stocker.

Liam Jones in Bali with family and non-footy friends.
Thread just got creepy...
FWIW we have tabled an offer for whitfield already, very unlikely to happen. Think it's more about making him aware of our interest for next year.
Question was asked and it has been answered.
Nothing creepy about that at all.
How the hell could we find him and the drug testers couldn’t?FWIW we have tabled an offer for whitfield already, very unlikely to happen. Think it's more about making him aware of our interest for next year.
That's not a great justification for something not being creepy tbf.Question was asked and it has been answered.

I don't mind him but in context not so much and definitely not for two relatively low first rounders.
This is to say that even if those first rounders don't amount to a lot as for the players we may bring in via draft, they could well do as a bargaining chips for trades and they're not chips I'd care to lose next year for someone like Wines. Coniglio, Whitfield, Kelly...Ok...but not Wines.
If we did hand that sort of currency for Wines and got back a pick 30 odd....what next?
He alone may takes us out of contention for others that we may require more in terms of plugging holes. We'd then have to be looking at offloading other players, just to make room for other targets. I don't like it at all.
Wines alone doesn't make us immediately so much better and he's far from being the sort of player you'd sell the farm for.
What did you think of his year this year and is that the standard we could look forward to? If so....what a waste that would be.
That's not a great justification for something not being creepy tbf.
Somehow I don't see a defence of "Your honor, it was not creepy behaviour, it was just a question that was answered" standing up..
Nope.Did you read the post I was responding to.

Ernie Adams of the Patriots disagrees...I hate data analytics in sport.
