I wasn’t born outside somewhere along Glenroy Rd. I was born in a hospital in central Melbourne.
Lots of open space in those days. Poultry farm on Mickleham Rd and the Essendon Drive-in nearby. Now it’s part of the burbs.

Did my primary schooling at Broadmeadows, great culture and gave me a ton of opportunities in a relatively lower socio-economic area.
Still frequent the area regularly, suppose it helps when my extended family are well-known for perhaps not the best of reasons...
