Dogs give pick 13 and our second rounder next year for Hill
Freo give us Hill and a third rounder this year

Deal done and thank your mother for the rabbits
Being reported that Freo rejected pick 6 plus a 2020 second rounder for Hill. We're not in the hunt.

Wonder what’s the hold up on Keath!
I suspect that we are the only interested party in him and we are prepared to wait until the price is 'fair'.
This whole trade period is seriously just a matter of which club blinks first in a lot of these deals. The entire thing could be over in 3 days.

Honestly I don't know why St.Kilda is so confident about getting Ben King.

I heard Shane Wakelin interviewed on SEN a few weeks back and he said that getting traded away from his brother at St.Kilda was the best thing that ever happened to he and his brother developmentally.

As a twin I understand the security that you feel having a brother next to you for life's challenges, but more so the importance of forging your own paths through life as you get older.

I think after two years of living separately Ben will realise this and I wouldn't be surprised for him to try to move to any Melbourne team other than St.Kilda.

That's my take anyway.
I've got twins and said something similar somewhere else. He might go to the saints but I can't see why it's a definite.

People seem to think twins are clones rather than seperate people, often with thier own interests, their own friends etc. Twins aren't any different to any other siblings, except they were born on the same day.

Looks like 32 is our main bargaining chip with either the Bruce or Keath deals, but Bruce is a lot more complicated. Whichever deal doesn't use 32 will either be a packaging of lower picks or 13 with something back. Probably makes sense to hold off on Keath until Bruce is sorted.

We're probably negotiating with other clubs for a pick in the 20s and that wouldn't be their highest priority right now.

I suspect we're looking to hold this year's first with a player in mind at that range.

With NGA next year I can see us trading next year's first since it'll probably be eaten up anyway to match a bid.

Freo still up their own ass about getting pick 2 for Weller. Rejecting 6 and a 2020 2nd is nuts, if true.
To be fair to Freo, all they gotta do is point at Geelong (Kelly) and the likes of Gold Coast (O'Meara) and say, "well they did, why not us also"

I liked what i saw of Tom North during his draft year. Plays like a Daniel Rich, sans T-Rex arms. Loose change or a Brad Lynch swap deal would work imo.

Already been dismissed by the Blues unfortunately. Can't hurt to ask, but won't be getting Fisher it looks like.
