AFLW 2025 - AFLW Trade and Draft - All the player moves
Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.
Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
I do not either but be aware not all that posted in the thick of trade period were really in the know which is part of what my post was about. The guys you mentioned most of us know can be trusted to pass on a bit of what they know, or at least what they think they know. There is a way and context of sharing that also needs some thought.I tend to subscribe in the 'don't shoot the Messenger' adage with ITK poster's.

struggling.......Thanks for letting me know.
I knew I shouldn't have say down on the wet lawn...
Our eggs were in the Papley basket. No loss not getting Butler. Handy, but keeping next years picks and using pick 9 this year in the draft is a great outcome. Martin to come makes this trade / draft period an overwhelming successBeen a fair bit reported here in regard to mixed messages on recruiting. Dan Butler thought he would be at Carlton next year and his management were more than a little bemused at Carlton's approach to the matter.
Tend to disagree.
Sure, it hasn’t been smooth sailing and he ain’t a great media performer, but the club is in a much better state than when he started, both on and off the field - that really is the key test.

If we were to go for Martin in the Draft wouldn't that mean we would have to use 9. Surely he would be picked up before our second pick in the 40's.

By the looks there will be a couple of big off field changes before 2020 begins. How is this going to effect the players?
I ask with genuine interest/concern. Up until Bolts was appointed coach I never took a great deal of interest in the off field with the exception of head coach and to a lesser extent the president.
All well and good but it is poor to effectively lead-on potential recruits, even moreso following the inability to secure the A1 target in Papley. Our eggs were in the Papley basket. Ellis & Pask by Liddle.Who led who on?
Can players get tested while on holidays? It's in place to catch players who may be microdosing etc where a day would make a difference between passing and failing a test.

McDonald & Pask manage a number of players throughout the comp & it is doubtful either will be tripping over themselves to encourage their players to join our club due the mixed messages out of Liddle, SOS & Agresta.

Goes alright on a Friday night...still waiting to see which way we will procure him but it all seems as inevitable as numbers sniffing out a beer special at the lion hotel...........
