Either or would be possible given the AFL is shit show. BriNg back Dank as the chief medical officer while we're at it.Or give us the flag because we are undefeated?
Jesus Christ. When was the last death from this fake af virus ? How convenient McGregor tests positive after an overseas trip. This is crippling our economy , look around outside nobody has this virus Ffs

The training bit is weird.Yeah but not straight away. Negative on Wednesday. Tested on Friday > Train > Irregular result >Tested again> positive result Saturday morning.
Just after all the trash talk that was going on between him and Victoria and AFL. Bit of "I told you so" about itWhy would he love it?
so a game is more important than peoples lives? is that you Mr Trump?we have 7 billion. Only 18 AFL teams
You’ve been relegated to 9th, with the option of booting you out of the comp altogether. Just too high maintenance.Or give us the flag because we are undefeated?
The training bit is weird.
An irregularity is a presumptive positive, and should be treated as a positive until it's known it's not.
The virus can lie dormant for 14 days - possibly moreYou would think this.
Test all players and coaches and trainers now.
Plays on Monday.

And that pattern fits a recent infection.
He got it Wednesday or Thursday, or even Friday. PCR tests are really sensitive. Very small amount of virus present, partially shows up in the test on Friday. By the following day it's a full blown infection and he tests positive.
Looking at it, it's possible he wasn't infectious when he trained. As I said, the test is REALLY sensitive. So if it isn't a clear pos, I doubt he has enough virus to be infectious.
I previously said a bunch are possibly positive at Essendon, thinking about it now, I seriously doubt that, UNLESS, he caught it from someone at the club who hasn't been found yet.

What an absolute sook that poster is. Completely ignores the location and population difference between WA and Victoria. Clearly looking at Victoria with glee. Please explain?
They have had the toughest lock down laws and highest testing in the country
Yeah it's called WAFL and SANFL. You're more than welcome to go back.Form a break away league until Victoria gets it's sh*t together... probably get a good 50 year comp
I watch your last effort to get one by playing footy. Just getting given one “because” is probably your best chance of getting one.Give the premiership to the port and call it a season
My bad 10 days ago
Good point. I’m not sure why some posters would want to get sidetracked with political issues, when they should be focussed on giving the Bombers a well deserved kicking.Guys there will be some other thread to talk about politics.. This is about an Essendon player testing positive and the ramifications to the season.
Don't think they could rule people unaffected so quickly, takes a few days to a week to develop enough antibodies to be detected and very variable from case to case.

you can catch it off someone and 14 days later start replicating it. They arent even sure if 14 days is long enough.
*checks calender*
Not sure what that has to do with whether something is out of control. If WA had 25 new cases today would Victoria be in control or out of control? And how many have the rest of the country had since then ?
