Given the lack of evidence of any obvious crime, surely we are required to support him rather than speculate about the nature of the offence or future at the club. I cannot understand why he is not being driven to Sydney. It's not that far and there must be a bubble member available to drive him.

So hypothetically, if that’s accurate, there would need to be new evidence of some physical violation, which goes over and above whatever verbal abuse took place (and by all outward appearances was resolved in 2018)...

I won’t speculate further, but that casts a different light on things.

What Actions Might Constitute An “Indecent Assault”?

• A kiss, when it has been made clear the kiss is unwanted.
• Intentionally rubbing your groin against another, example; on a busy train when the other person has not given consent.

What The Police Must Prove
The essential elements that the Crown (Police) has to prove are:

1. that the accusedassaulted the complainant, and
2. that the assault was indecent, and
3. that the assault was without the consent of the complainant, and
4. that the accused knew that the complainant was not consenting, or he/she realised that there was a possibility that the complainant was not consenting but he/she went ahead anyway, or he/she did not even think about whether the complainant was consenting or not — in other words, he/she did not care whether the complainant was consenting.
