Update, for anyone interested: After listing these for sale through Facebook, I have had to bulk order more wooden spoons.

Eighteen were sold within the first hour - a third of those going to good-humoured Crows supporters.

Further update: My spoons have made it to ShitAdelaide.

Why would a club in stage 1 of a rebuild give up draft capital for a bloke who is 27 - not in a position of high demand, has an injured past and isn't known for setting great standards


If the crows do it it'll be to be better right now what's bizarre ( but then again they are 0-12)

Stage 4 restrictions in WA now slated to end on October 24 - which by no coincidence, would be the day an Optus Stadium grand final would be held on. Furious backroom negotiations continuing I'm sure. The AFL is said to still be split on Queensland or WA.

The GF was always going to be in Qld as soon as the Vic clubs hubbed there. Its the closes thing to home advantage the VFL can give them... If they were all based on Kangaroo Island, that's where the GF would be this year...
