Dow will get it sooner or later.. everyone matures at different rates.. Not everyone can just come in and go bang and get everything right.. BUT The qualities Dow does have like speed etc can not be taught... So if and when he matures and switches on properly mentally and understands things, and also gets his body in the correct shape, then you have a elite mid field weapon ... Hopefully he finds it next year at carlton... If not its either another club which somehow makes him realise things, or maybe no club does and hes a guy who just didnt click fully to whats needed... Thats why this game at the highest of high levels its hard to just replace anyone, especially an Elite player..

It's a good question. I don't think there would be many suitors as he's really yet to show anything of value yet at AFL level. When a former club champion comes out and publicly says you need to harden up; it would hardly bolster your value.
Would be lucky to get a top 40 pick for him as it stands now.
I would take him in a heart beat at St Kilda and back Ratten to develop him properly. He smacks of someone who is being judged more by his deficiencies rather than what he can do

Young player, exposed early, didn't do much. Made to earn his spot, and hasn't come up after injuries interrupted his early season. Sent back to the twos after a couple of average games in the seniors.
Quite amazing how young players come into senior footy these days and can play at the level. Dow looks like one who might take some time. I'll back him in, and the club to develop him.
