Not to mention superstar coach David 'the chessmaster' Teague.
They’re executing exactly our plan 2-3 years in the future. Load up on young talent, maintain select senior leaders, sell ‘bright future’ narrative to free agents and potential recruits. It’s the only way out of poor list management and mediocrity.
Where has it been reported that he wants to leave to be closer to family? Or where has that been stipulated by the higgins camp?
All that has been said is that Higgins is set to follow what the club thinks. As he did last year. That’s all.
I honestly have no qualms to what higgins does as he has been a fantastic ambassador for the club. He is well within his rights too look out for himself first and foremost.
But you can't just keep adding closer to family to fill up articles.
I disagree. I actually think St.Kilda would be a better choice if he lives around the Bay.
But I'm more keen for it to be Geelong because there is much more we can deal with there.
I'm sure whoever offers the most will be the one who gets him irrespective of who went for him last year.

They gave up pick 2 for Weller. Freo would've carried him to GC for that return. They squeezed the Tigers and overpaid for Ellis. Greenwood is solid.
Top-8 bound next season.

Weller still had to choose to go. We overpaid for Polec. Greenwood puts them ahead.
Anyway, it's a midget fight. We had to move heaven and hell to get Polec after years of striking out. Corr is only coming because we're giving him more job security than GWS could offer.

Because they paid him more than Freo were prepared. Lachie Weller was also part of Suns academy so he had history there.
Neither of the 3 are some great gets.
RS just named three very good players. You naming one that didn’t pay off doesn’t exclude the fact they are a far better at acquiring quality from opposition clubs then we are...

There are some wins there but most of them weren't chased by other clubs.
When ever there is a choice between us and some other team we lose.

Paying more is generally how players moved. We've offered more to a number of players and could only get Polec to budge. What's your argument that we're a better destination club than GC?

I hadnt checked in since Saturday when he was still staying but he made up his mind last night and informed the club of his decision.
Ballsy by him to request the trade, it was always going to be Blues or staying but now its up to Carlton to satisfy Dodoro in a trade. Could be a circus getting it done but he's basically put * on notice.
But correct just read the age which says both him and his dad follow Collingwood

**** me, this’ll get ugly. Dildo is a big enough campaigner before factoring in that it’s Carlton he’s dealing with.
We've recruited more players. Better players. I'd take Higgins over any of those 3.
And all it took was 6 years in the bottom six before this one, 33 wins and 99 losses in that time, two spoons, two other bottom 3 finishes and two coach sackings and they still haven't won anything.
Hope we're patient....

Fremantle were in to Waite
Carlton, Geelong, Greater Western Sydney and Richmond were all in to Higgins
StKilda were in to Polec
Let's just hope our young player are actually more consistent. The Blues only have Walsh, Harry McKay and Weitering showing something.

Crazy Carlton mate. Adam himself supported Collingwood but the majority are Carlton. Hes been trying to get to the Blues since he left the GC because they wouldnt stop nagging him about it.
