Chicken Nixon says:

- North into Shaun McKernan
- Brown linked to Lions & Pies
- Higgins linked to Geelong

- Chicken Nixon into teenage girls
- Chicken Nixon into drugs
- Chicken Nixon linked to domestic abuse

We are 100% on the same page there.

They have jumped too early once again, just like they did with the Murphy/Kruezer/Gibbs era.

It's simply not in their culture to undertake a proper youth development program. It's always been money & a short term mentality.
Cartank are so bloody pathetic.
Look at the Amount of number 1 draft picks , priority picks , priority rookie draft picks , mid season draft picks (you name it ) they have had in the last 10+ years and for what ?
they have currently players like Paddy Dow & co languishing in the reserves without an idea on how to develop them. It just proves that it doesn’t matter sometimes how many high draft picks you get . If you cannot develop them into long term AFL level players for your club . It means nothing .

Even off the field. Pagan's available? Sack everyone let's get him! We can get Malthouse?? Onya bike Ratts!

Teague will want to win a flag in the next two years otherwise he'll get shafted the moment Clarko falls out of contract.

They’re executing exactly our plan 2-3 years in the future. Load up on young talent, maintain select senior leaders, sell ‘bright future’ narrative to free agents and potential recruits. It’s the only way out of poor list management and mediocrity.
Except it's not.

They attract free agents and trades because of the "big club" narrative, and yet they get Jack Martin instead of Dustin Martin, Mitch McGovern instead of Jeremy McGovern, Matthew Kennedy instead of Josh Kennedy, and Hugh Goddard instead of Brendan Goddard. Does Liam Jones count as a good get?

The only player of any consequence who they traded out for picks was Bryce Gibbs, and he'd been trying to get home for two years. And they've loaded up on young talent not by design, but by making terrible decisions and just being shit.

If that's what we have to look forward to, then God/Allah/Vishnu/Zeus help us.

When Saad spoke with Carlton, he was promised greater clarity around his role. He was told the Blues had enough lockdown defenders, and he would be given the licence to run and attack from half-back or the wing.

At Essendon, Saad became frustrated with lockdown jobs when his offensive game was also flourishing.

He also had issues with infighting in the hub and the general culture. A popular teammate, Saad was not in favour of direct feedback that bordered on abuse at times between players and fractured components of the group throughout 2020.

It’s understood the hub life - with players living alongside each other - amplified change room issues.

I’d like to know how many players from other clubs over the last 5 years Carlton have procured ... still on their list or not it must be at least 30 ?!?

Have to admit that Williams and Saad are great gets though. Their problem is that they just paper over the cracks while their old blokes retire.

Sounds like Hooker mucked his hair up Daniel Nielsen style.

Nice little leak from someone at Essendon to Morris there. Hell hath no fury like a Dons board member scorned. Pissy
