And add one million to our cap when we need to resign Bont
Correction - add around 200k, Bont is already on around 900k. Why would we have to pay bont 1.9million? 1.1mil would put him in top 5 in league which will keep him happy.

That may be true but the issue was value - winning a Norm Smith Medal and being a Premiership player elevates JJ above Saad in the trade stakes I'd suggest. Whether that's fair is another matter. Both have achieved a third placing in their club's B&F's - that means something at the Bulldogs but Essendon are woeful.....I think many would prefer Saad over JJ if they had a choice
Yeah two year extension last year. Bizarre really - happened while we were chasing Bruce.List management thread has him signed until 2022
Saad is worth more then JJ. Saad worth a pick 10-15, JJ worth 25-30. Irrelevant anyway, his not going anywhere

And perhaps his former teammateLove that his addressed the culture 2 times in the same post obvious shout out to the media recently
It will get worse next week. Hope Power stays strong. They need to be taken to a place they don’t want to be. A place they risk losing out on Caldwell, a place where they trade their future for Dunkley.Lol at Pickering putting pressure on us to accept a deal.
If they get both Caldwell and Dunkley, I have the feeling in 5 years time Caldwell will be the better player.Essendon are restricted with their ability to trade first round picks, GWS are chasing a first round pick for Jye Caldwellhow the heck are they getting enough currency to trade for Dunkley?PLAYERCARDSTART6Jye Caldwell

PLAYERCARDEND
For mine Essendon have no players we need or want. Draper maybe - but has had an ACL and is already in decent coin. I’m not sure on Merrett - is he potentially too vanilla?

JJ would command a higher trade value. No question.

Something along the line of there being a deal for everyone and its up to the dogs now. How? What’s he said?
No deal done with Bumbers, what he won’t come back? Sit out 2 years?
Dunkleys need the $
Been saying this all along. Give the options that suit us not them,EVery team needs to say “this is what we want/offer and it’s non negotiable, don’t contact us until you ready to deal” and then ignore him.
Go to media and flat out say the exact same thing and put all the pressure on that smug twat.

Hes our player. Essendon will need to bend over backwards x4 to cross him over.
Pickering should be telling that to Essendon not usLol at Pickering putting pressure on us to accept a deal.

The Dunkley family turn to hard drugs to deal with their failed careers and their father's imprisonment.
Think you are right. Ole mate Adrian has got a few balls in the air.GWS demanding a first round pick from Essendon for Caldwell, Essendon strong favourites to win trade week yet again if they can somehow pull off all their deals with no assets.
Surely Carlton aren’t stupid enough to give 8 as part of the Saad deal, but I can see it happening as they are a rabble of a club.
Everything is screaming to me that Dodo wants Dunkley, Caldwell and Wright and still have a top 10 pick
Saad is tougher than people give him credit for.Hmmmmm I’m not sure I agree with this one
Up for trade now I’d suggest Saad gets slightly more but not by much
Who will blink first? I have a feeling essendon will low ball us and we won’t accept anything too low. It’ll come to the final day.
