Don’t want to be negative and he seems like a lovely bloke, but if this happens it has Scott Clayton written all over it. Loves his speculative mid-sized athletes. Problem is, they tend to be busts just as often as guns. C’mon Scotty, Hollands or McDonald, don’t **** around.
We have to take a tall at one of our picks if not both. Cannot just leave our selves open with our KPP stocks so low.If you guys target Perkins with your 2nd first rounder. Surely that opens the door to either McDonald or Thilthorpe instead of Hollands at 2?
you could always take kpp with the later picksWe have to take a tall at one of our picks if not both. Cannot just leave our selves open with our KPP stocks so low.
Best available at the pointy end, no ifs or buts. Needs come later. You simply must nail that pick. As an example, Longmire debuted as a 16yo, kicked a club record of 14 in a game against richmond and won a coleman kicking 98 pretty early in his career.......does that mean we dont take Carey if he came up in the next draft? Dont forget in that era, we also had other young key forwards. Peter Mann, Mark Stevens, Even Hewitt, Mark Hepburn a little earlier, not to mention Corey, Jase Mcartney started out as a forward at collingwood and played forward for us as well, even later on, even Leigh Brown kicked 6 from memory for us as a forward once Wayne departed.PLAYERCARDSTARTMark Stevens

I don't think we'll base our first pick on what might be available with our second to be honest.

Thillo/McDonald and Perkins/Cox/Reid combo looks good.
Do you take Balmers opinion seriously? Does he seriously not think any Tassie player will be recruited? Not even thinking a. Team will take a chance on Callow?
KM on the draft board again referring to our defense as "decimated"
We lost Williams, Pittard, Macmillan, Murphy and EVW - all average to limited footballers. We didn't lose our two key defenders (Tarrant and McKay), a tall intercepting defender/swingman (Walker), our premier shut down/rebound defender (McDonald) and added a general defender who can play on talls and smalls (Corr) and another rebounding defender (Young)
Is the bloke taking the piss or just a hopeless judge of footy?
Apparently, McDonald has had 3 interviews with the Crows.
From the draft board: "Logan McDonald has had THREE interviews with the crows, including with Leadership Development Manager Dan Jackson, Nicks and obviously Ogilvy."

Adelaide is stuck in a four-way draft quagmire. Each way out is paved with big upside, but there’s a few traps

Dude clearly didn't understand Bard Scotts fascination with average half back flankers.KM on the draft board again referring to our defense as "decimated"
