Am I the only one considering menadue at D6? I've paid 200k for worse in the DEF before. Yes, I was burned by him "that year" but on the other hand, he has tonned up the same number of times as LUD in his career and North wouldn't have recruited a squaddie in their rebuild stage, would they?

Considering he was a VFL-listed player in 2020 and picked up in the rookie draft, he's crazily over-priced IMO. He should be 102k. I'm not sure that he has the job security you might be prepared to pay 200k for.

If Menadue is a walk up best 22 player for North then they are in an even worse position than I thought.

Billings took me for a ride my anooz will never forget, I'm still experiencing lube issues.

Currently tossing up between him and Doedee for D4, both had great runs of form to finish off their years. Favouring Doedee due to his earlier poor scores being due to injury as opposed to Dawson's just being due to poor form, but I wouldn't begrudge anyone picking Dawson.

That was the ****ing Crows' fault, bringing him back after only 1 week out for a hammy. Freo did the same thing with Fyfe a few weeks earlier. Gee what a surprise when they ping it again.

Biggest concern is actually that Doedee is priced bang on his max average.

The Crows traded Kyle Hartigan although not a good player it will be hard to replace a tall back in a hurry and Doedee might have a more defensive role. It would be a big risk starting with a player that has only played 10 games in 2 years with multiple injuries on the back of a couple of 100+ games

The value is just not there this year, if Doedee can put it together though, he may be a top 10 SC defender one day.

He'll need to show some durability first though before I pick him at his current price.
