Heppell > Caldwell > Green IMO. Can't trust Leon Cameron but reckon Caldwell is guaranteed plenty midfield minutes versus Green.

What am I missing with Green anyway? He barely played last year. Surely there are better options at his price.
Watch the practice game.
He's the best sub 400k player.
Thinking 100 minimum

I almost agree with this comment maybe 90. The only concern I have with Green is his coach. Will he play every game?

Yes they need a mid bull to supply protect their pretty mids

I thought that was Hopper's job lol. He's a player that hasn't lived up to his potential, going missing far too much

Rookie strategy:

I try to maximise DPP especially among the rookies. This year my fwd line has 5 FWD only + 1 rookie (placeholders atm).

Rowe seems a likely one at this stage for Round 1.

Do I sacrifice Treacy as a cash cow and potentially link with Marshall (when back and able to be brought in) to have a second mid/fwd rookie on the bench?

No, DPP is useful, but it shouldn't be at the expense of picking the right rookies for Round 1, unless it's a line ball call. Think JS will be paramount this year.

Caleb Daniel vs Luke Ryan?

A: Lloyd, Duggan, Dangerfield
B: Stewart, Short, Oliver

A: Dunkley, Taranto
B: Oliver, Green
Gunna bump this because noone is answering...

Caleb Daniel vs Luke Ryan?
Daniel - worried what impact Hamling and to a lesser extent Pearce will have on him (although on face value it should be a good impact and free him up) as well as the additional scaling intercept defenders got over less game time (think Haynes, Howe, etc.)

Daniel is the less risky pick for mine and better value

Better bye: Ryan
Lower risk: Daniel
Higher ceiling: Ryan
Variability: Ryan more variable so more chance he drops in price. And more chance he becomes unaffordable in the first half of the year.
Value: Daniel (just)

Id say Daniel by a nose.

A: 120, 92, 110 = 322
B: 105, 100, 118 = 323

That's a really tough one. I am locked into Lloyd and the other 5 have been in and out of my team in the last week. I'd go with A.

A: 102,100 = 202
B: 118, 88 = 206

It's line ball because option B means you need to upgrade Green. I'd go with A.
