I would suggest that being suspended will rule Tex out of AA contention. I had him at CHF in the team…. I guess Buddy would be favourite for that spot. There are few other CHF who are playing at an AA level this year.

The season hasn’t even started and you’re calling some one a lock for the AA. Not like it’s Bont or Naitanui either, this is a bloke that’s never made the AA.

Happily put a bet on that Naughton won’t make an AA team next year unless he moves to defence.

It’s also very hard to argue for when you look at their results. You have stars across the park, but as you well know, it’s your 16-22 players that will often determine a result.

Absolutely, the players aren’t performing. Personally I think most of them don’t have the drive anymore after 2018. Doesn’t mean that the best 22 isn’t one of the most talented in the league

IF players are no longer at their peak, as they have lost their drive…. they are NOT the best 22 any more. They were the best 22 a few years ago.
WC fans and team living of past achievements and really need a harsh reality check. This seasons repeated pummelling may deliver that check.
Cats or Dogs probably have the best 22, not that either can get all their best 22 players on the park at the one time.

I’ll wait for finals to make the judgement that they’ve completely lost it. The teams had a horror run with injuries the last two years but will be interested to see if they can show up when it matters.

Performance wise absolutely, on paper definitely not, Dogs barely have a single all Australian outside the midfield, Caleb Daniel possibly the only one?
