Permit me to indulge my burning sense of childish retribution for a moment. Wouldn’t it be even more delightful if the board could temporarily delegate its power to terminate; so that SOS could be the one thats fires him. I’m in heaven right now.

Up to half the board to be replaced (this may align with idea that board split on Lyon decision if true).
HO football and CEO also likely replaced.
May not be announced for another few weeks however.

That is so depressing.

Lyons last 4 years at Freo resulted in ladder finishes of 16th, 14th, 14th and 13th before getting sacked. Cmon people seriously.

Buckleys coaching tenure outside 2 good years in 2018 and 2019 was poor and he got sacked...has not done an apprenticeship to improve elsewhere.

Clueless.

I'm happy to be excited as anyone, and more than happy to see Liddle and Co go.

Same time I feel a bit iffy dancing on Teague's metaphorical grave and anyone else that's loss their job. But it will be what it is I guess.

We all do have a lot of time for David. Players really like him and most supporters will not be happy with him getting sacked. Truth is, he has had enough time and he has not shown enough. Thanks for the effort and no denying you did try so hard to be a successful coach. All the very best to you and your family for the future.
