Absolutely nuts.12 in a row
It's a completely different world. No QR codes, nowhere near the social media or mobile internet reach/capability... How does that change how COVID has unfolded and the position we're in at this point?Man.. its 2007. Covid hit years and years earlier.
And we are all locked up with a 9pm curfew.
Do you go out running amok on the streets risking a 5k fine... or do you remain at home
Definitely. Especially when players like Marlion Pickett have 2 premierships.Have to feel for Jones

Especially with all those duds in the draft..Watts,Toumpas,and that other guy (Scully). Still came through. Shows that rebuilds can can work even with draft busts. GFC take note..Good win by the Dees in the end. Best performed side all year, a very classy outfit, and a deserved win. Great to see them do it for the long-suffering supporters.
You certainly feel it may have been a lot closer, or even a Bulldogs win, had the Bulldogs had more run, having not played the extra game and had the extra travel, but that's ultimately what they get for not handling the H&A as well as they could have whereas the Demons were again the best side all year, and they proved it and reaped the rewards tonight. Combined year-long effort and performance on the day shone through.

Just worked out this reference - 1970s TV sitcom Porridge. Was imagining he'd been rolled in some oaty Optus mud.Spargo looks like one of Fletcher's flunkies in Porridge.
Be kind. Some of us are just trying to see light at the end of the tunnel right now.I can see Melbourne being better next year
