yeah i have mixed feelings about it all - and obviously the long term would look great however without some bigger bodied mids around them the kids would get pretty beat up then again after the year we had the mids were beaten most games anyway - so will have to just trust Sam's new vision for the club.

I'm taking a glass half full approach on this one. While I would have liked additional draft capital I actually rather like the fact that none of our players want to leave. Mitchell was on a front-ended contract so could easily earn more elsewhere & Wings would likely be given more security and a more realistic chance of a Premiership in the next 2 years. It suggests we have a strong culture that the players believe in.

It is also worth noting that without doing anything we have the 5th best draft hand. There's also plenty of time for additional pick swaps.
