Ok. Once fully recovered will he lose some strength due to surgery or do they heal back just as strong previous to injury?

Once he has healed, he will lead us to the promised land...

Ps - my posts are not to be taken seriously and/or literally...

Club says 12 weeks, its 13 weeks to round 1. Considering Russell puts them on a 3-4 week training block, probably looking at round 5. Every pre-season we lose a few, Jones (obviously other reason) and Stocker so far… malakia!!

Minimum, with no set backs after surgery and seamless rehab and then the match fitness block ...

Change of mindset for me.

Our list finally has depth. Have readymade replacements for Doc, Jones and stocker and three months to get players ready for those roles.

It’s time for the CFC to look adversity in the eye and stare it down. Looking forward to Marchbank, Young, Boyd, Williamson, Kemp and Parks taking their opportunities.

Underrated Greek.

Anything is possible

No one, no one, no one ever….is to blame! Howard Jones

“The 21-year-old suffered the injury after his ankle was caught in a tackle at training, with scans confirming surgery will be the most effective approach for recovery”.

And from the boy himself
“I’ll be out three (to) four months so I might miss Round 1, but I’ll be fully recovered which is the main thing,” he wrote.

“Haha three (to) four (months) is a recommendation. I’ll get back in 10 weeks.

“10 weeks means I’m round 1 bro. 14 weeks is the max I can go and be fit for round 1. I’m just lucky I’m pretty match fit at the moment because I’m only off my legs for four weeks. Then back into a month block of running.”

No, still Russell's fault

Our players are to blame every time one of them lays a tackle in a game and the opposition player gets injured from it. The government should think long and hard about banning contact sport.

This totally sucks. I wont predict when we will see Stocker or argue with anyone when some of our supporters say he could return by Round 1 and others say it's a 6 month layoff. No one knows and we've been burnt plenty of times before by our optimism about our injured players scheduled returns.
İt's gonna be a minimum of 1 to 2.weeks.

The annoying part of this is for Stocker he has worked hard on his weakness which is his stamina. It's probably the reason he's played in the back pocket and not on the ball at this stage in his career. Endurance probably hasn't come naturally for him he's hard to train it up. A long lay off means he probably goes back a fair way and will effect his game more than a Cottrell, Curnow or Marchbank who have that natural running ability. He's going to have to recover and train his endurance levels back up which means he's probably going to be coming back through the back pocket and not playing on the ball like many of us had hoped. Thankfully he will be back early in the season so he can work on it from there but very annoying for him.
