Caveat: I know nothing about this kind of thing.

He said he has put on the weight without really trying, so I'm wondering how much of this would simply have been natural growth. If the running has always been there, and the weight gain has been natural, wouldn't the conditioning be somehow naturally proportionate to that?
I smell a little mayo on his comments.

I find it hard to believe he whacks 13kg on without trying.

Probably a middle ground. A lot of planning has gone into having him put on muscle but was perhaps less gruelling/faster than he was expecting.

Exactly right. It's not a complete fabrication but he's definitely over-egging the pudding.

What are you talking about. It’s easy I did it during lockdown 😭

Players that can transform their body to such a degree in a single preseason normally turn out to be pretty good players. No real surprise there - hard working players off field get improved results on field.
The exciting part is he's not just hard working, he's got the talent to back it up.

Not relevant to Coxy, but the new jerseys look absolutely mint.

The brighter sash and red accents are glooooooorious.

Agree.

Only bad thing is the cut in between the sash.
