Not really. Bloke kicked 47 goals last year. He'd pretty much be one of two KPP's I'd have zero issue putting a 6+ year contract in front of. Genuine star of the comp.

Guy has one flaw as a key forward, his set shots, which has improved this season so far. I'd take him over just about any other KPP in the AFL.

His marking and fearless attack on the footy is 1st class and as above outstanding. If he can sort out his goal kicking he could become the premier forward in the comp. But its a big problem at the moment.

No doubt - he'd be among the worst set shots for KPFs in the comp, it's so frustrating when he takes a mark 25m out at a slight angle, because you know a McKay/Larkey/Kennedy would slot it with their eyes closed. Still, to try claim he's overrated is insane. He's a top 10 KPF easily as it is, if not top 5.

Brayshaw = Macrae in so many ways. He'll be the workhorse of your side for the next decade, even if he doesn't have the damage per disposal that a Bont/Petracca does. Will probably collect a handful of AAs along the way

You're comparing him to an injured Bont who is playing well below his ability. Try comparing to Petracca who is absolutely firing. Also, please point out where I said he won't be damaging

I think he's implying that by comparing Brayshaw to Macrae and calling him a workhorse you're saying he isn't damaging. I don't necessarily agree with that, and Macrae can often be damaging, but I think that's what RonnieRaven is getting at.

That's the thing - I do think Macrae is a damaging player. He's just very obviously not on the same level of damage per disposal as a Bontempelli / Petracca / Martin. In no way is comparing Brayshaw to Macrae an insult to the quality of player Brayshaw is. Macrae has just won his third consecutive AA, as well as the Gary Ayres award. This is why I've been asking RonnieRaven to actually show where I said Brayshaw isn't going to be damaging - because I never said that, and never implied it

Look, it's fine how others perceive Aaron. I just don't feel he is as good as many rate him. Im ok with my this. He'll probably kick 8 against my mob in a couple of weeks to really shut me up now but I don't see 'it' outside the mark and kick he is. If his job is to kick goals, he needs to add other strings to his bow with his poor goal kicking to warrant the obsession with his game style.
