Holy moley the militant agreement and defenses of Hinkley from a whole stack of people agreeing with Kane’s post on ‘We Are Port Adelaide’.

It’s like a cult.

People are literally prepared to watch the club sink into the abyss for more of Ken Hinkley.

You’d at least understand it in defense of Jack, Russ, Choc or even Primus, but Ken Hinkley?

I would have thought if anyone was going to demand change it would be Kane Cornes, given what has transpired in recent years in line with his own predictions and expectations.

Now that our season is done anyway, I don't want the sugar hit and subsequent wins from a coach sacking now because it may cost us the top 5 draft pick we need to get a quality young 199cm key forward.

He actually made the comment about Buckley before round 3, when they were 0-2 going into a game against Carlton (finished 16th the previous year).

Just making the comment that they could go 0-6 based on their future results. They instead beat Carlton and Adelaide in the next two weeks.

They had lost to Hawthorn and GWS.

We were kind of similar going into round 3 to play against Adelaide (who finished in 15th last year).

One of our greatest on field performers of the AFL era without a doubt, but I think regardless where supporters stand on his journalist opinions, we almost all collectively agree that his last few seasons and 5 second fireman move were pretty amateur moments for him. In complete fairness though, it's probably more on Ken's shoulders for wasting a valuable list spot on him that could've been used for a younger player with more potential.

I did wonder - that kind of move seems very disrespectful to the club (almost thinking you’re bigger than the clubs success) but also on the coach. Anyway I didn’t mean to derail.

One of ports greatest AFL players, played a huge role in getting us the 2004 flag

I think most of the criticism he gets in the media is unfair, I like that he has strong opinions, too many boring commentators and journalists out there. Although I don’t agree with all his opinions I think most are fair.
