25 min interview with Andrew Pridham on 3AW yesterday.

Not worth tracking down imo unless you want to hear Tim Lane ask the same question 20 different times about Tasmania (Don't you agree, Tasmania deserves a team?).

They asked him almost nothing about our club.
I liked the part where the nuffie was questioning when Pridham said he was cautious about their ability to be financially viable. The bloke was involved in one of the biggest banking organisations in the world FFS. I think he knows a bit more than you Lane you flog.

could you please provide a link for the slower of us out there?
At the top of this page you'll see a box called Threadmarks - then select the drop down arrow.

IMO decent commentary by Barrett (yep I know hard to believe).
Let's face it Paddy's career will always be seen in the context of his concussions, but I think at last we are starting to see a recognition (outside of the club) that he is playing bloody well and an essential part of our defence.
To quote Barrett;
There are many facets of operations contributing to Sydney's surge this season, and the work of the McCartin duo is as important as any aspect.

recognition from not just outside the club.. but also here on BF. Remember it was only 4 months ago that many on here didn't think he should be on the Swans list.

I think scaryness, after this week's game (in Paddy's thread), summed up my feelings;
I did not think he would be as valuable as he was, and honestly I was disappointed in the club because I was fairly strong in my conviction that he should not risk playing again. I am still on the fence about that, but it's his duckin body eh?

What I can't believe is that he is an absolute monster and is now our best defender, only a few could have seen that coming and I think even they would be shocked at what he is doing right now.
Long may he continue to prosper, in all aspects of his life.

With regard to his body, it's none of our business...

People are allowed to climb the Alps or the Himalayan mountains, they are allowed free climb, they are allowed to trek to Artic and Antarctic circles, they are allowed to drive cars around twisty, curvy tracks at an avg speed of 189kms per hour (top speeds of 300kms)! They risk life and limb by choice, and we don't debate it.

Why do we feel we have a right to determine what is best for Paddy...

Talk about how Swans fit Buddy in going forward

Three interesting points made by Lloyd, all of which are thought provoking:

* Logan is now our no.1 key forward. Buddy must play a support role (as evidenced by the fact that our forward line seems to function better when Buddy isn’t there).

* Reid and Buddy can’t play in the same team - they don’t compliment each other & it’s a dilemma for Horse. Without explicitly saying it, he’s queried if Buddy is automatic best 22 every week.

*Lloyd finally admitted he played for free kicks (well duh…..)

Lloyd has been trying to write Franklin off for years.
