Some of you need to chill out, be better than geelong supporters.

We dont need to wish injuries on anyone or hope someone evens it up.

Just be content in the fact we win when it really matters.

Also the thread is about Stewart and Prestia

Make no mistake other teams are going to come for Geelong after this. They are not going to have an easy road home. Geelong were my most hated team, now I absolutely despise them. We need to win every game on the road home now due to the corruption we have witnessed.

  • 13 to 26 free kicks
  • Selwood laughing saying good boy
  • Scott clearly defending Stewart it had to be targeted.
  • The AFL altering to careless.
  • AFL allowing play to continue. Tick.

Surely there are grounds to commence legal action here against the AFL. Any sopeanor

Surely there are grounds to commence legal action here against the AFL. Any subpoena here could seriously rip up some corruption. Richmond need to go hard it’s been too much. You can sit there and be **** blocked by the AFL or take a chance at dismantling the whole organisation.

Our former defence lawyer Paul Horvath.Talk about a contradiction in his opinion.

However, leading sports lawyer Paul Horvath, who was a tribunal defence lawyer for the Tigers for eight years, believes Stewart should be contrite and strike a deal with the AFL in a bid to ensure he was given only a three-match ban.

“I am not judging Tom Stewart. I respect him as a good player and all those sorts of things, it’s just the act, the protection of the head and, more importantly, the concussion and ongoing and long-term effects that is important in this,” Horvath said.

“You have got to look at it and realistically say: ‘We can’t get any less than three weeks, let’s try and do a deal with the AFL that agrees to three weeks.’ That’s what I would be doing, regardless of the classification.

“If the AFL agree to it, on the current classification of three weeks, I reckon that would be a pretty reasonable outcome in the circumstances. I am used to being a defence lawyer, I am always trying to keep penalties down, but I think, my feeling is, three weeks is about right for it.”

Ohh now we learn we can deal with the AFL on punishments wait it was not murder more like manslaughter:( Like the real world the AFL is no different as I have always said it is one of the most corrupt organizations around and this tends to prove it. Wait did someone says free kicks? or Lockett cant sign with rfc!
Makes those 3 latest flags look like we did the impossible.

Its nonsense. The hit was far worse than Dangerfield hit, not a football act, has to be 5 weeks minimum after negotiation

3-weeks is not about right for an elbow to the head off the ball. 5-6 is about right, but simply has to be 4 minimum.

A reasonable outcome for who? The Coward?

Wants to protect the head but suggests the minimum penalty. A deal? FMD

Some Lawyers would sell their own grandmother. He appears to be one of those.

Since when have you been able to “strike a deal”? I’m hearing 3 weeks which is essentially 1 match more than Dion will miss. They also have the advantage of replacing Stewart in the selected side. An option we didn’t have on Saturday. The AFL at its grubby best.

I’m going to ask an uncomfortable question - why was Prestia walked off the ground? Unconscious for 60 seconds and no neck collar? Lifted by a trainer? No spinal board? And hence no stopped play?

Had an ambo over for dinner tonight. Described what happened and his jaw dropped - as did mine!
I'll think you'll fine Dion got up under his own wobbly steam. If he stayed down then the brace etc would have been called for.

my feeling is they'll give him 4,should attract a minimum 5 but they'll do 4 ,wots disturbing is the effect it has on Dion in the short and long term, will he be the same player ?....its disgusting wot the potential ramifications that an act like that can cause a man,may Stewart be haunted for the rest of his days, karmas a guarantee
we''ll find out tonight just how corrupt the AFL corporation is ?
will they acknowledge justice and back theyre own laws regarding reckless behaviour & head injuries ?

Its an utter disgrace that the AFL has ticked off as the right decision by the umpires to not stop play …. You cannot defend this farce …… this nothing to see here s**t is a joke …. The AFL are an disgrace !!!!!!!…….
But very few of the spineless AFL media will bring them to account on it.

It will just be another disgraceful outcome from the AFL that will be ignored. More lies from AFL HQ. Nothing to see here...

Balme has said the no stretcher decision was on RFC. Stupid, only reason I can think why is they thought he would pass a concussion test.
Probably, but I hope they (and the other AFL teams) learn from this and just bring out a stretcher immediately next time a player is knocked out on ground. It’s not just the umpires and players that have a duty of care in these circumstances, but the clubs themselves as well.

Not sure about that, It's hard to make out 100% what was said. What I do know is that Selwood is a Dog of a person, makes me ill to see him laugh, no care in the world says a lot about a person and I guess that's why he is pretty much hated by the wider AFL community.

Geelong use to produce cars.
They've replaced Cars with Dogs.

He didn’t look happy with himself at sll, he looked like he felt pretty bad.

It was a dog act and he deserves 4-5 weeks, but I don’t think it was as premeditated as some here believe.

If the shoe was on the other foot this board would be defending our playing and whinging about how “woke” the world has become.
If you may have noticed the difference between them and us upto and beyond the dog act.
If we were them Nank and or Lynch would've sent the Dog too the vets.Instead we did what good football teams/clubs do.We just couldn't finish it in the end but they know next time they won't be in the contest.
So that shoe your talking about will never happen(pre meditated)

As someone on radio pointed out on radio.
Any incident on field coaches always say they didn't see it.
Scum Scott instantly went into defending the Dog.
Of course it was planned to target Prestia.

There were plenty of opportunities earlier in the game to get him and nothing happened. You sound ridiculous
