Tbh, I feel like the conjecture around the length of suspension and the concern for Prestia's wellbeing has allowed Tom to escape scrutiny for the potential damage he's done to our top four prospects. Missing games against Melbourne, Carlton, and potentially Port Adelaide (away) is huge. We probably need to win at least two of those and he's made doing that a lot harder.

He won't escape it where it matters and thats inside the club. He knows he's let everyone down.

Geelong is now arguing the Tribunal should consider the remorse shown by Stewart and his good character.
His counsel Ben Ihle says the level of remorse in the quarter-time huddle, by Chris Scott post-match and in a doorstop interview yesterday were all noteworthy.
"He has expressed his genuine concern for Prestia and genuine disappointment in his decision."
He also says Stewart was happy to accept the "severe" classification of the impact and not argue it as high.

I don't think they should consider remorse. Media comments should not be admissible as evidence

We have been good enough to beat Brisbane and Bulldogs without him this year and were good enough to win a final without him last year.

I honestly think the whole "favourable draw" thing is a media myth.

Eight games left and only two of those are against bottom six teams. The rest are all against decent teams contending for top eight.

Think we'd be wise to ignore arguing over the 3 gradations made by the MRO.

With the AFL likely to push for 4 I think trying to argue gradation down to high and thus 2 weeks will be met with a very strong counter argument as that'll be seen as far too weak a sanction.
Instead using below to ensure it isn't more than 3 is the better idea.
