You know, I been thinking and it's not only Ken that needs to * off, some of our soft **** players can go too, to busy protecting their pathetic coach that creates this cosy atmosphere. Any player that doesn't comply with Hinkley's Clan gets pushed out. What's the latest port thing, being good humans lol, not being good footballers. We are not just fighting Ken, Koch and the board hear, it's the players too, they are all part of the fuzzy bullshit that is the new Port and don't the media love it.
I'm afraid for us old Port Adelaide fans The club died along with what's left of the Magpies. I don't think we can win this battle.

I made the point in the pre-season that senior players within Port Adelaide needed to present to the board to seek a change in coach.
Failure to do so or not wanting to do so because they believe in Ken's message and coaching ability would have only sealed their fate for which some will depart the club without ultimate success. That fate has now been sealed for a few, Dixon, Boak, Jonas, Gray.....the batton for change now gets past to Wines, Houston and potentially Rozee and Butters if they want to waste further years under Hinkley or if they demand a new coaching direction.

At this stage I do not wish to cancel the Membership, but that will be subject to the clubs actions over the next month


Like many others, I have become increasingly disillusioned with the direction and messaging coming from the club over the last few years

Our club has now reached a vitally important crossroad

I firmly believe the appointment of a new Head Coach for the 2023 season is paramount

If this eventuates, I will happily continue my financial and emotional support into the future


As a lifelong PAFC supporter this is a very difficult decision

But change is required and this is my way of making an active stand

So I told the missus that I won't be keeping our (bloody awesome) seats next season if Hinkley is still there.

She comes to the games on sufferance, she doesn't like footy, but likes hanging out etc. so I thought she'd be pleased we'd be saving the money.

She freaked out because she reckons I'll spend it on something shit like golf instead!!!

So now she wants to start a Sack 'that coach you don't like' campaign to prevent me taking up a shit sport!

Lots of examples of players being rolled out by clubs to express their strong support for a coach, only for that coach to be sacked days/weeks later. I can still remember Pendlebury's expressions of support for Buckley.

But with Koch in charge I wouldn't be surprised if he's trying to soften-up the supporter base for the incoming bad news.

One of the reasons I believe Clarkson is in play is because it's reaching a point where the appointment of Clsrko is looking like Koch's only salvation. It's not an easy sell to shoot Bambi and then replace him with a novice, who will then be judged extra critically.
Koch is being super quiet this week. Now, of course that could mean he's hiding in a bunker waiting for this to all blow over. But it could also mean he has something up his sleeve and is playing his cards as close to his chest as he can amidst this barrage of noise.
It's at the point now where if Hinkley is sacked he'll need to be replaced with a k own winner.

I'm beyond despondent about all of this.

We are trapped funding a low performance boys club run by a morning tv host and a Geelong hillbilly - the former who only cares about his own personal brand and the latter who only cares about his bank balance. Neither even remotely care about winning a premiership. And the CEO is a pathetic sock puppet yes man for Koch.

We are currently being held hostage as members by a media from across the border acting as a protection racket for their dumb hillbilly mate who now has a tenure of record length for no success. The same media who mercilessly pursue and contribute to the demise of coaches at all other clubs. We are expected to see mediocrity as the best our club can hope for and being gaslit into accepting that our natural place in the order is at the bottom of the ladder. We have become the exact opposite of everything Port Adelaide stood for and importantly what made it great and why it competes in the AFL. I'm honestly left wondering what is the point in us in this guise? I'm not actually convinced SA is a big enough market to require a second plastic franchise. We really might as well not exist to be frank.

All this is made so much worse by having no way to action change because we don't control our club as members. It's just depressing to see someone like Tredders sitting there just as pissed off as any of us but powerless to affect change.

Even in 2011-2012 the club still felt like Port Adelaide. Things were dire but you felt like the coach and the administration really cared and really wanted the club to be successful. They hurt with the supporters and didn't make excuses. They accepted the challenge and failed but didn't fail to try. The idiots in charge now simply don't care. They don't hurt and they don't understand the supporters hurt. We are white noise and don't matter to them. They should be ashamed at what they've turned a once proud club into.
