Well spotted. I also noticed in this photo that he doesn't look entirely thrilled either. It's almost a faked/forced celebration. It's a very half-hearted smile, in stark contrast to Bontempelli who seems exhilarated. It's almost like Dunks is checked out and already wishing he was playing for the Demons instead of us this September.

Any handshake deal with Lobb should be taken off the table.

Sam Darcy is the man to play this role for the next 12 years. We don't need Lobb.

I’d much prefer Logue to Lobb
Don’t know what kind of direct match ups Logue has had this year but he has a ferocity that we seem to sorely lack in our backline, good size & comes from one of the stingiest defenses in the competition

Let's hope it isn't Port OR Essendon. Port are talking tough and ruling out their first selection.

If it is port and they are refusing to use their first we should be after someone like duursma he would be a massive upgrade on our second wing

I don’t think Melbourne could afford him, they just re signed Brayshaw and are supposedly chasing Grundy. Midfielders are the last thing they need, perhaps a decent forward would be more of a priority.

The more recent reports of Lobb going to Melbourne makes more sense than Dunks.

You’d think if Dunkley is staying he’d have agreed in principle by now and they are still ironing out terms. It would be great to have an announcement before the EF. If we don’t hear anything while our season’s still alive it’s more ominous. The club won’t want to say anything until it’s all over, then Dunkley can sneak off and not face the supporters. Went to the G to watch Blues and Pies, my dark horse idea is I reckon Carlton to do with Dunks. Pies game plan was to sit on Cripps to stife his burst out of middle. Another bull in there would help them

How about Dunkley for Grundy? Straight swap. Both are AA level.

Grundy look like he needs a fresh start. We do another Trelor and they can offload some of their salary cap/ after signing him up to another monster deal. Lipinski has been good for them and they would feel like they are a better team with more cash. I know they want Bailey Smith and would move heaven and earth to get him but they can bugger off.

Their first would be bare minimum just to get a seat at the table. He’s not a free agent and we know Power won’t cave. And he’d have to get past North, Adelaide, Essendon, Hawthorn plus the rest in the preseason draft so can’t exactly threaten that either

Honestly I think he wants the most he can get. Probably his last opp for a big money deal. Bombers have been a basket case for 20 years, so for all the bs last time it was really the fact they were apparently offering $800k per year on a long term deal.

North will be loaded for cap space (or they bloody well should be). They’d be an ok candidate. If stories are true about Adelaide then the problem is the Crows are going after Rankine and might not have the cash or picks available.

We should play hardball though. I think we need to start replenishing midfield stocks for the future, but obviously if a very good KPD or winger with pace comes up you’d look at it.
