DOES DUNKLEY MAKE THE MOVE?
Josh Dunkley famously tried to get to Essendon at the end of 2020 but a trade fell through.
Now two years on, and out of contract in 2022, there’s plenty of interest in the Bulldog.
7NEWS reporter Tom Browne says a move to South Australia could be on the cards for Dunkley.
“Port have certainly registered interest in Dunkley,” he said on Triple M.
“It’s my understanding Dunkley wants up to a five-year deal and he’s 50-50 at the moment on staying at the Bulldogs.
He also obviously wants big money and the Bulldogs are constrained by where their list is at and things like that.
“Port have certainly registered interest.”
Dunkley’s partner, Adelaide Thunderbirds netballer Tippah Dwan, remains in South Australia for at least another year.

He normally goes out on a limb eventually.Ahh good old Each Way Browne.
Goin' out on a limb there Tommy Boy
******* idiot
Like that starting position a lot. Wouldn’t we have to swap back a late pickMy starting bid for Dunks would be
Pick 8 + Amon compo for Dunks + Pick 29
Be careful, they'll start nuffing about you on their boardMy starting bid for Dunks would be

So if Rankine was pick 3 and now has years of development and a huge contract offer. Do the Suns accept pick 6 (Crows pick 5 moving to 6 after Roos get a priority pick)?
Why do we have to choose between a probable list clogger and an actual list clogger? If I'm going to pick a list clogger I'd rather choose someone who has shown nothing in three years and may end up being better than a list clogger over a guy who has proven over 100 games and 10 years that he is a list clogger.
As I said, never seen McAsey play. Not keen on him at all, it can't be a good sign that he can't get into a putrid Adelaide side If given the choice, I'd still have Young here.
I'll always support O'Brien if he gets back into the team. Stranger things have happened than him becoming competent in our best 22. I'd given up on Hamling mid 2016 and he changed that in no time. But in general I don't believe its a good idea to be taking punts on 28 year olds who showed some potential.
This is story reminds me of the tale of Sisyphus right down to Tom repeating himself. Here’s the full article

Au Contraire Doggies. Tom is incredibly well connected. Can we just not even bother posting Tom
Browne articles. It’s actually comical how far off the mark this bloke usually is, I genuinely think he actually has zero connections or any connection he does have literally just feed him the wrong info as a pisstake.
Garcia has a lot more upside than all those three and will fill key voids in a few years.I’d have McLean (pre knee injuries) and Lipinski well ahead of those guys, Adams when he’s on the park has been a better performer too imo, but they’re all obviously years more advanced in development and the others may get there.
The Amon compo pick and nothing else. What are they saying he’s worth?
If he nominates Port we don’t have much negotiation power as he’s out of contract. A fair deal, not a great deal, is about as good as we can hope for. Hopefully Dunkley understands we need a fair trade.Port are the biggest nuffy group of supporters.
Dunks isn't leaving and if by some angel of Kern Hinkley intervention he does, Sam Power will ream them at negotiations.
Hope they are smarter than the bombers person that quoted me in their threadBe careful, they'll start nuffing about you on their board
Agree. Riley has a huge ceiling. I’m very bullish on him. His movement in traffic, love of the contest, attack on the ball and the opposition, is great. I see him as the more likely Libba replacement than west.Garcia has a lot more upside than all those three and will fill key voids in a few years.
Those others are just role players, Rylie will be a rung or so above that.
You could argue both Laith & Dom have more X factor too, but jury still out on both.

If Dunkley goes to Port then we have to work Jimmy Rowe into that deal somehow. It would suck to lose Dunks but I think the electricity having Rowe zipping around in our forward line kicking outrageous goals would make up for it.
