My god Chris Scott is insufferable. 2 minute interview and I wanted to kick him in the balls. Don't know how anyone can play under him and enjoy it, but players do keep going there.

When was the last time the cats made a grand final?

Yeah, they have nothing to lose, apart from a spot in a Grand Final.
Your logic is nonsensical.

They weren't expected to be in this position, so it's 100% a free swing.
I acknowledge it's do or die, loser goes home. But it's still a free swing considering where they were a few months ago.

Geelong not the most likeable characters, coming from a supporter of
a team loaded with despised characters!

Richmond are a lot more likeable. Only flog for Richmond is T Lynch.

Geelong - Dangerflog, Selflog, Jeremy Camflog, Issac Flogsmith, Zac Floughy , Grian Flogiers Gary Floghan

Really. There you go. Had cancer a couple years ago so that would be why I don't recall. But shocked about that tbh lol. I thought it was more like a decade ago.
16 minute quarters with all the Victorian teams at summer camp in Queensland...2020 will always be a truly unique case study for footy historians.

Fascinated to see how Geelong go scoring wise in this first term
We’ve seen in finals they have struggled to score in bunches. But this team has more weapons in 2022!

If they start well it’ll be tough for Brisbane. But if they can keep them under 3 goals it’ll go along way to being in the contest! X factors in Daniher, Hipwood and Cameron are key. Need to take all their chances tonight

I make the distinction between having a free hit and having the lower pressure associated with being the underdogs.

I agree that there is no such thing as a free hit in a prelim - they are very rare opportunities. The only rarer opportunities are grand finals, by definition.

However, I think there is something to be said for being the underdogs. I think that can lead to being less nervous, and playing with more dare and freedom.
