We’ve had our fair share of embarrassments as Melbourne fans, but going out in straight sets to this mob ranks pretty highly.

Dees may not have beaten the Cats tonight, but they would have made them earn it.

This is the main problem with a travelling team pulling off a big SF upset, they often fall flat the week after.

Pre-injury Daniher would take a game by the scruff of the neck, especially bigger games. He's just a shell of himself now. Not sure why.
He has had one good year in his entire career, which was 2017. Injuries for a couple years may have been an excuse then, but he has been fit enough this year and last to make a bigger impact. Waste of talent.

Most exciting grand final since 2018

2021 - knew Dees would roll them
2020 - COVID cup
2019 - knew the Tigers would them

Regardless whether it’s the Swans or Pies it’s a huge GF
If it's Collingwood they're a huge chance. We'll brain Sydney..

Massive congrats to the Cats. Extraordinary achievement the way they’ve sustained their position as legit flag contenders for a decade. If they win the flag it will be a just dessert, but even if they don’t, their sustained run of excellence should be acknowledged.

Also: Danger has to have had the most underrated careers (on Bigfooty) of just about any player. He has been (and still is) an absolute champion - one of the best contested bulls you’ll ever see, who also hits the scoreboard regularly and is great overhead. If you don’t think he’s been one of the best players of the AFL era you’re kidding yourself .
So he kicks 1 every 4-5 shots regularly? Yes he gets the shots, however he is a momentum killer with his poor kicking
