It just wouldn't be a Geelong post-game thread without 'neutral' supporters getting more pissy and bitchy than fans of the team we actually beat.

Brisbane aren’t great. It’s like WC smashing Melbourne in the 18 PF, Pies were all over WC early and pretty much in it up until the last minute. That game really takes the edge off tomorrow night. Feels like we are playing for second.
If Pies won the supporters would behave with our customary grace and humility. If Sydney win it at least we won't have to hear about it

Potentially, I can see the advantage of already having played them in the finals.Think he means the way Collingwood plays is more of a threat then Sydney
As good as the Swans are the Cats match up pretty well across the ground. The Swans can get them with ball movement but Collingwood are Richmond 2.0 which has troubled Geelong more then anyone over the past 5 years.
Pies are chaos with a great backline
The Swans are more methodical with a brilliant team ethos across the whole field. Will be a fascinating granny regardless!
Going out for a half time durry happens at every gameGreat for cats fans but what an awful product for the AFL, was at the game, was quieter than an average H&A game, then people were spewing out of the ground (even cats fans!) just after halftime
Not many people back me up on this, but when Bruce MacAvaney retired I said we wouldn’t realise until much later how lucky we’d been to have a commentator who built up such a sense of occasion for big games, like prelims. The current commentators fail completely to do that. This!! Seriously I get the game, but can we still call the play a bit. They might as well have just crossed over to that show with Adam Cooney.
AgreedNah. Don’t be fooled by the score line. Brisbane were absolutely abysmal. The Cats were excellent but they’re beatable.
2017 he was pretty damm good and made the AA squad.
He's not a dud just dosent care that's his problem.
No, it was disputed by everyone who responded, you clown
You argue without logic and like a 10 year old, nah so there!
Oh, sorry, same Pies fan![]()
Haha if pies win I expect some fans to get arrestedIf Pies won the supporters would behave with our customary grace and humility.
lol because all you can do is call me illiterate m8, you've got nothing else. Huge melt, quite embarrassing actuallyYou translate someone calling you illiterate to a massive salt laden melt?
Not sure what alternate reality you're living in. In any case stop quoting me now donkey

Think I'm finally convinced, that was pretty sharp. Holmes is a disappointing loss though, hard to replace that pace.
Based on what evidenceIf it's Collingwood they're a huge chance. We'll brain Sydney..
Either way you’re in a great position to watch them fight it out now. Sit back and enjoy the ride mateSydney's record against us is very good. So not sure who is better to play against
Best feeling ever when your team makes the gf and you can relax and watch the other prelimI'm glad you see it tooGeelong fans: Selwood is nothing like Ginnivan.....
Wouldn’t have mattered either way, Cats schooled them, went in dry! but going forward they really need more from Hipwood and Daniher, McStay leaving will only make things worse as he’s the one who does work without the ball.Went in too tall should never have brought Daniher back
One average game out of 7 so far this finals series I think the AFL don't have much to worry aboutGreat for cats fans but what an awful product for the AFL, was at the game, was quieter than an average H&A game, then people were spewing out of the ground (even cats fans!) just after halftime
No, I made a mistake, logic of an 8yo. Nah na na na na na!I sound like the 10 year old?Anyhow, enjoy the win mate.

Pies definitely canPotentially, I can see the advantage of already having played them in the finals.
Just feel if the Pies are slightly off then Geelong could really open them up.
Agreed, we really were spoiled in the 90s early 2000s with prime Bruce and Sandy, even committi who I always found overated shits all over the current mob. The newcomer Jason Bennett is probably the best of the lot of themNot many people back me up on this, but when Bruce MacAvaney retired I said we wouldn’t realise until much later how lucky we’d been to have a commentator who built up such a sense of occasion for big games, like prelims. The current commentators fail completely to do that.
I’m waiting for the apology for your nonsense last week, when I told youThink I'm finally convinced, that was pretty sharp. Holmes is a disappointing loss though, hard to replace that pace.
