That's not actually such a silly proposal. Crows have the cap space. While it wouldn't save Suns the $ to retain Rankine (because he would have made up his mind), it would allow them some space to tip in more $ for others.

You dont have 19 this year though. You might offer fiorini and your earliest r2 for someones FR2/3 and see if they bite (assuming hes willing to go).

Essendon would probably do their 2nd for Fiorini and your second to b honest.

We need points for next year.

I’m sure the list management team will be trying to turn these second rounders into 2023 picks.

I’m sure someone like west coast would pay more (ie 2023 3rd rounder) than what you’ve offered up - which is virtually nothing.

Pretty sure both have 1 more year to run on their contracts. There was talk a while back that we may be trying to cut a deal with Thompson to retire. Think day will be kept as key fwd depth.

We need KPDs and a small forward. Intercepting defender would be nice too

I don't think so he was training as an onballer a the start of the year till Rowell ran threw him and hurt his shoulder
