Trading Stephens to Hawks for pick 63 has a foul and unpleasant odour to it. What are we missing?

A player taken with pick 16 .... fast fwd a few years and he's now seen as a pick in the 60's. Perhaps the club knows something we don't? Did Stephens crack it at the fact that we brought in a couple of midfielders under his nose and say he wants out?

If there's nothing more to this deal that the pick swap you have to wonder if the coaches think he's a plodder and we got that pick wrong a few years ago. Just take the medicine and move on. Surely pick 63 not added to the Henry trade with Pies giving it the ok? We don't need the picks do we - so there's a few missing pieces here.

Question... and I thought club's wouldn't get away with doing this, but trade radio (Goddard though) said Dunkley can do it.

Henry put like 700k for 1 year on his head in the PSD and get to us... but then smooth out the contract.

Doesn't pass the pub test for mine otherwise, surely we'd just do that.

Pretty sure ... what ever is nominated is added to you cap... whether you smooth it or not
