I remember watching in the 70s and 80s and there was no roof and they never went off no matter how high the temperature. No-one died.

I think that must have been done away with as it takes into account humidity. No humidity today, just a classic high 30s dry heat day that is typical in a Melbourne summer.

Yeah, and after they refurbished MCA, that was considered #2. But it seems like judging by the matches that has changed. But they still list it 2nd in the order, so it must be #2.

I see it as one teen, who has won a grand slam, v another teen, who has been a runner-up, from 2 big countries and followings in a 2nd round match.

Deserves it its place as the RLA night match.
