Being a richmond supporter (and we play next this week), obviously i have a slight sense of relief about that news.

but ignoring that - shocking news for him - great bloke and a great player - and wish him all the luck getting back and firing:o

Actually I agree. He IS one of the best players to watch when unimpaired by injury (or fitness due to injury).
To say otherwise indicates to me that you haven't been watching much footy.

he's hardly one of the best to watch.

Are you kidding? His all-too rare best is absolutely electric, one of the best in the comp.

It's just a shame we never get to see it cause his body can't hold up.

DOH. I just can't believe it. Right after this best game of the year and when he was finding some form and fitness. :(

When they put Harvs up on their shoulders after the game, Kosi felt a twinge in the hammy, and tried to shift Harvey's left bum cheek over to Rooey, but it was too late.
The sad thing is how believable that sounds, given that it's Kosi. PLEASE tell me you made that up!

Apart from the "poor mongrel" factor about Kosi, from a game-play point of view it's kinda disastrous. Not only was Kosi playing a blinder, but he was playing well in TWO roles. His ruck work was superb, against Cox no less, and his forward work was obviously great, particularly in that first half. The point is, we have to replace this ONE great player with TWO players. We need a ruck (Brooks, Van Rheenan, Clarke) to come in, and we need a forward to come in (Watts, Sweeney... nah, just Watts). That means somebody else has to go out of a winning side. That always stinks for that player's morale.
