He is generally a very good user of the ball too. Definitely something to work with there. I hope we keep him on the list.

He’s got some nice attributes, nice kick and composed but also pretty quick and very aggressive but yeah doesn’t seem to find a lot of it or do anything overly special.

I feel we need a medium defender in last nights team, I wonder if Raak could be an option if he can play small/tall, be a bit of a nuisance defensively and use the ball cleanly when he needs to.

Probably not the right time for an AFL debut this late in the season but still wouldn’t mind seeing what he’s got at the next level, at least before we delist him

He's only 20 years old and has definitely improved his game this year. Good skillset. IMO, he is exactly the type of player we need to keep and develop. Particularly given our age profile.

A few observations: the two young talls up forward, Lewis and MacIsaac certainly show some promise as key forwards. Both fly high for their marks and are pretty accurate kicks.
I'm sold: Sullivan should be on an AFL list and I'd quite like that to be ours. Macpherson also a very impressive, hard at it mid.
Best from the listed players: Sweet - dominated as usual and pretty good around the ground; McLean - got plenty of the ball around the packs; Baker - was very influential in the 1st half and kept presenting on the wing. Raak moved around more today and was dangerous up forward. Busslinger was solid in defence but didn't have to work very hard after quarter time; Clarke worked harder than I have seen lately and was involved in more scoring. Cleary also solid and ran off opponents, didn't get a lot of it. Buku worked his way into the game in the second half and scored 2 goals.
Kudos to all the VFL listed players who seem to have improved markedly since the start of the season. Perhaps good coaching!

We need an injection of youth into the senior side. Hope some of these younger players force their way in next year.

I didn't watch today's game but Chatfield has been very solid for Footscray all year, definitely become a main stay for a bloke that was in and out of the side last year. Yep, Kellett is #57. Also just a lazy 38 disposals from Sullivan, he'll have a good crack at the league best and fairest this year.

I’d love to be wrong but I don’t think he has the size to develop into an AFL standard in and under.
He’s lost his point of difference which was his agility and leap. Unless it comes back, it will be hard for him to find a role in the seniors.
