A rather tardy start to 2024.
Owen four.
I think I've heard this score before?
Haw. Haw.

Now hopefully our mob extract their digits tomorrow and give us something to be happy about!

Dons have pace to burn and play up tempo, exciting footy, so it'll be tough. Either Port by <10 or Dons run away to win by 40+ :smilev1::sadv1:
Owen became a teenager at West Lakes in 2020 - hopefully he reaches a similar age this year.

Crows fans wanting Nicks sacked after having re-signed a couple weeks ago. Asking questions about the management of the club…the irony isn’t lost on me after spending the best part of a decade cheerleading Hinkleys reign of mediocrity.

I've always thought Nicks was vanilla but let's be honest, he's always had a lot less to work with than Hinkley has ever had.

I enjoy their crapness regardless.
I mean in the sense it felt like they were on the right track last year, expectation grows & they hit the season like a flat tyre.. it's a familiar vibe to a few Donut years over the journey.

Definitely but I think their 2023 was a combination of a soft draw and Ted winding the clock back somehow.

Don’t rate the Crows list at all. They’re about 5 decent mids short and for mine they should be getting kicked off the park. I think Nicks is a better coach than Ken.

Yep. Man for man how many of them would definitely make Port’s first 18?

• Walker (in 2023 form)
• Dawson
• Rankine
• Michalanney over Ratugolea?
• O’Brien over Soldo in a coinflip?
• Possibly Laird over Wines at present?

Nicks definitely isn’t a budding Clarko, but he’s got next to nothing to work with.

Anyone else spot the irony of this comment? Or is it just me?

“They don’t think it’s fair that Adelaide and Port Adelaide, they get an extra home (game) because their state government tipped in $80 million over three years to host this extravaganza.”

For example Geelongs fixture has them playing a combined 15 games at the G and Goomba, and they travel 5 times for the year lol. Maybe STFU Scott.
