I've always thought Nicks was vanilla but let's be honest, he's always had a lot less to work with than Hinkley has ever had.

Note that tonight's game is a sell out.

But as always there will be thousands of empty seats in some corporate sections. Some of these corporates wouldn't show up to a game involving Port if you paid them.

All games are sold out except for the last one, Collingwood v Hawks, when a whole lot of interstaters would have gone home by then or, footied out by then.

But sell out doesn't mean all people holding tickets show up.

I have a 4 day hill pass and didn't go last night, but my sister is using it tonight as I have seats, and I will use it for the 2 games on Saturday and the Sunday game.

If the AFL are forcing Tassie government to spend $700m on a stadium, plus:

• $60 million to assist in the establishment of the team’s operations and to construct a high-performance centre for use by the team;
• Operational funding of $12 million a year for 12 years (with CPI capped at 2.5% or CPI, whichever is lesser) from the team’s entry into the AFL and AFLW competitions.

Then you know the 20th team will be about guaranteed $$$, and the only place that can do that, is WA.
